Hi all,
The most urgent are portraits, especially for the main alien species. Quick descriptions:
- Ardars are reptilians, humanoid but with crocodile/dinosaur features (without going into complete animal faces). Stern looking, dark green to light green to grayish scales. Military uniforms should be stern-looking, in dark colours. Civilian ones rather drab and simple.
- Betelgians are humanoids, thin, yellowish and bald. Should look a little elegant and fancy. Rich, colourful clothes - they are modeled on the Italian city-states.
- Ixumites are lanky humanoids, a little feline-looking, somewhat fury. Royalists soldiers were fancy uniforms, religious soldiers simpler ones in white and grey. Most civilians were drab and poor-looking clothes.
Otherwise random aliens, humanoids or not, are also good for natives, barbarians and so on.
If the style can match the human portraits that would be best, that way I can use both... The best would be if they worked by "layers", at least clothes and faces, so I can mix and match. But that's probably asking for a lot
